Tyson Chandler Thinks Kevin Garnett Crossed the Line With Carmelo Anthony


Carmelo Anthony was so incensed by something Kevin Garnett said to him on the court Monday night, that he tried to fight him after the game, resulting in a one game suspension from the NBA. Melo’s teammate Tyson Chandler says that KG crossed a line that shouldn’t be crossed in the heat of battle. From ESPN Radio (via SRI): “If he thinks Kevin Garnett crossed the line with Carmelo Anthony: ‘I think it was a little too much in all honesty. I felt like Melo just wanted to have a conversation man-to-man and I can respect that.’ If crossing the line can happen during the course of games considering all the trash-talk: ‘Absolutely. You can definitely cross the line in sports. There are certain things that are said on the court that is basketball chatter and then other things that should always be left off.’ If Garnett is known as a guy that crosses the line too often: ‘I’m not sure. I guess it all depends on who you ask the question to.’ If Anthony was bothered more by losing or the comments made by Garnett: ‘In all honesty I can’t answer that question because I don’t know. I don’t even know what was said because I wasn’t there when it all happened. I know one thing, Melo doesn’t get easily agitated and people don’t get under his skin that easily so obviously whatever was said, it must’ve been something.’”

    no, what is subjective is how each individual man reacts when his wife is disrespected. saying it has nothing to do with insecurity is not.

    Nah NBK, noones judging, but what i DID do is phsyco-analyze this clown.. all i said was that he sounds insecure.. i think over-analyzing what I said. Hes not the only one KG talks trash too.. he needs to grow a set of balls..just my opinion bro.. im cut from a different type of cloth.

    Every man is different. And people don’t know what was said. What if someone talked about molesting your babies, or doing something extremely disrespectful to your wife? To me, you need to address that promptly.

    I’m going to judge you. If I see a man openly disrespect your wife or children and you just keep hooping, I’m going to think you’re a punk, or you don’t love them. Melo didn’t start throwing fists, he just let KG know that some stuff wasn’t going to be tolerated. Perfectly reasonable.

    KG is not untouchable, Trash Talking may be his MO, But there is always the first time, whether on the Court or in the Street, at a Club, Concert, Dinner Event, You can say the wrong thing and Get Hurt!. It just Depend on the Person, Time, and Place. So to each is own if he continues this Nonsense to get others upset or try to take them out of their character. There is always consequences in return. So KG Watch Your Back!Lol
