Jordan Crawford Traded to Celtics for Leandro Barbosa’s Expiring Contract

The day’s first blockbuster deal! Or, OK, not so much. But at least we’ve got a trade: Jordan Crawford was moved from the Wizards to the Celtics in exchange for Leandro Barbosa (who’s out for the remainder of the season, so: his expiring contract). Via @WojYahooNBA:

savin’ money! at least the cs didn’t have to give up on fab melo. a raw 7 footer who can block shots on natural talent is something to wait on for at least 2 seasons.

LOL so much for Boston saying they wanted to keep Barbosa on the Celtics.

2k needs to let us trade injured players like in real life…

Works for both teams. Celts need scoring and Wiz save money and get more PT for Beal.

well there is no reason for Celtics not to sign him in summer

Good move for the C’s, now lets trade for Danny Ainge before he does anymore decison that could surely hurt the C’s chances on making the playoffs.

I saw an update that Jason Collins is being included in the deal as well. The guy’s terrible so it doesn’t even matter. See ya!

Congrats Celtics fans, now you get a player who can help you wi…. uhhhhh… exactly what does Crawford help you do again? Lead the league in ill-advised shots early in the shot clock? Well atleast on the bright side you have a Jordan…

check that… nothing really works for the WIZ traditionally, figuratively, literally, or symbolically.

    dey stink.

First I thought Terrence Williams replaced Barbosa… now it’s Jordan. For real. The fact that he has yet to play for a good team in a a good system, I think he has a good chance of improving within Doc’s system. Most players want to play for Boston now. You don;t hear that about Washington. At all.

Don’t worry though wizards fans, you still kept your turnover prone point guard who can’t shoot … At all
