Hmmmm…….

Via ESPN’s Brian Windhorst:

Have any suggestions for what Cleveland should do with the pick?

They should either trade the pick, or use it to draft who they think is the best possible player.

Yeah lol, what else can you do?

I questioned myself as to whether my sarcasm would portray itself accurately over the internet when I hit post. Apparently it did not

I will vote up any nick cage meme though.

I disagree. I’d say they trade it for the rights to the Ghost of Brad Daugherty.

NickyRomero…timing is everything in this business…and you nailed it…lol. It only works because you commented right after him…without someone being able to post before you. As a Cavs fan since the days of Ron Harper and Mark Price (mad at LeBron then, happy for him now) I think we should trade down and take Anthony Bennett. Porter is nice but I don’t see him being an All-Star. AB will continue what LJ started…besides Bennett…Burke is the only other player I’m excited about in this draft…these two if any are the only ones that will make an All-Star team from this class…

The use of an “lol”, or something to indicate humor would help…you really could be a brand new basketball fan that thinks that comment adds insight…

It’ll be a smart move if they actually traded the pick. Teams like the Sacramento Kings, for example, have been getting solid lottery picks for the last couple years and it’s done nothing for them. Stacking rookie/young talent on a team never results in wins. The Cavs could get some solid pieces for that pick.

I’m just really hoping they don’t trade them to the Lakers.

You can always use it to draft Kwame Brown, though. Right? RIGHT?

i think mclemore will end up being the best player, but like durant, is seen as a number 2, not 1 pick- so i think trading down for him and say glen davis would be smart. but teams rarely trade down, its just not seen as being the best thing- although last team to do it was orlando , penny for cwebb.

They won’t get much in this draft.

Id keep the pick if I were them. Nerlens Noel looks promising. We may be looking at a mini Kobe-Shaq with him and Kyrie, and they have a guy whose play resembles Dwyane Wade.

  • pippenainteasy

Keep the pick. I feel that Noel and Irving can create a Mark Price-Brad Daughtery esque tandem.

  • spit hot fiyah

he is not even a mini shaq. poor mans micro shaq maybe

  • NickyRomero

Hahah that’s always been my no.1 gripe with typing sarcasm too. You just can’t convey proper tone over the keyboard.

    Draft? More like “voyeurism.”

  • https://twitter.com/jasontichenor Mr. Wet

Indeed. It was perfect timing though, very well played.

  • TV63

Cav still won’t get a decent veteran if they try to trade. No One wants to go to Cleveland. THey are better off keeping the pick and making good choices on whom they pick.

  • VanCityBBall

You realize that Noel is lighter than Deron Williams right?

Okai, maybe Kobe-Shawn Bradley then. :/
