Al Harrington Waived By the Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic announced today that they have parted ways with veteran forward Al Harrington, who has recently said he hopes to play for a contender next season. Harrington took to Instagram to let the hoops world know that his basketball days are far from over: “It’s Official… Orlando has waived me! I just want thanks all the Orlando Fans that embraced me in my short stay there. It was my pleasure playing in front of you guys. Also wanna thank Coaching staff and medical department for helping me get back on court to do what I love the most. And that’s to Hoop with the Best! Now that I’m almost 110% back healthy I’m so excited for my immediate future. Let the phone start ringing. I’m ready!!!!!”

So i guess he goes to the Lakers, oops

  • Dev

    He’ll prolly fade into obscurity

  • Michael Bialecki

Clippers need a big man who can hit more than 12% of their FT’s.
I’d roll with Al over Odom

  • Roy Blumenfeld

Spurs, Rockets, or Clippers could all use him for what they are trying to do. I think he’d also fit well if he returned to either Golden State or Indy due to the style of play, but neither of them need him.
