Ronnie Brewer to Reportedly Sign With the Houston Rockets

Free agent guard Ronnie Brewer is headed to Houston, according to ESPN. The Rockets have reached an agreement with the veteran: “Sources said that the Rockets struck an agreement Monday on a two-year partially guaranteed deal with the defensive specialist, who played for the New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder last season. Houston has been filling out its bench with a variety of bargain signings since winning last month’s Dwight Howard sweepstakes. Oklahoma City acquired Brewer from the Knicks at the trade deadline but played him sparingly, using him in only one playoff game.”

how is he in the league? his jumper technique isn’t even sound

  • spit hot fiyah

he was buried on the thunder’s bench. sure he can’t shoot but plays D and does alot of things alright without hurting a team. i always liked brewer

  • CKLOH

Houston’s going to be nothing short of a wall, defensively.

  • LakeShow

    Great defense.

  • LakeShow

    I like him too. He’s a winner.
I don’t care if people don’t like that as a description for someone, cause that dude is just that.

Not allot of PT behind RW, and KD…

  • Busta213

He literally cant straighten his arm, hence the funny technique.
Ive always enjoyed his hussle, putbacks and defensive energy…..

bro, derek fisher got minutes behind RW. there are no excuses

  • LakeShow

You know Fisher though. He gets all sorts of things he doesn’t deserve.

And also, Sefalosha IS Ronnie Brewer, but a better shooter….

They just didn’t have room in OKC.

sefolosha started though, and westbrook went down. should have been some minutes somewhere unless scott brooks was just set on his rotations and refused to play him, in which case trading for him was worthless

  • LakeShow

Scotty just didn’t like him in his roto for some reason. He played 38 minutes more than Daniel Orton last year… Ouch

  • Ganchan

    did he deserve this?

Why u gotta go in on D-Fish like that, haha

  • Slick Ric

Indeed, he’s a winner. Good defensively and the best at cutting to the basket in the league still.
