New York Knicks Tickets Are NBA’s Most Expensive in Secondary Market

Going into the ’13-14 season, the New York Knicks’ expectations were high. And so were their ticket prices. According to secondary ticket marketplace Vivid Seats, the median price for Knicks tickets on the secondary market is $200. Following the Knicks are the L.A. Lakers at $180, OKC Thunder at $170, Bulls at $165 and champion Miami Heat at $155 per seat. As for individual games, the Heat and Lakers’ match-up on Christmas Day is the most expensive, with a median ticket price of $479. Miami at New York on February 1 is the second most expensive at $399. Of course, some fans find their way to games for less.

The expectations were high? Guess I am the only one then who sees them barely make the Playoffs. With Chandler out they will have their work cut out for them.

And Dolan is the very reason why a Bronx-based rapper, Fred the Godson, even rapped the following lines:

“Swallow, guess she like the d…
But she choke, guess she like the Knicks
    It’s no Deng
I leave chicks like Ewing, knees hurt with no ring”
