When does his contract expire? This year? Next? Surely we can flip him for picks soon…

As long as he’s ready to go for the playoffs….oh wait.

knicks suck. phoenix training staff knew this would happen.

not even david kahn would have made a deal like this in his good old days

Just goes to show you the peaks and valleys an NBA player can go through. There was a time when Stoudemire was on the most exciting team in the league and contending for “best PF” status. Seems like just yesterday when he was taking the Suns to the WCF.

    Uninsurable. The end.

To think Boston was rumored to be trade partners for him. Even possibly giving up Rondo. NY was foolish to take him to begin with. Damaged goods upon arrival.

Who cares? Im so sick of hearing about this guy. He is a cancer to New York. hy dont they amnesty his ass and be done with him? And by the way he was only successful in Phoenix because of the GREAT Steve Nash.

  • Tobias Fernandez

He did his best to come back and sure was starting to play well it is really time to hang up those basketball shoes or it could get worse might not be able to walk. It would be best for him, his family, and the Knicks organization and fan base to retire.

Yeah, Nash spoon fed Amare non stop during those years.

What about that first year with the Knicks when he was an MVP candidate? Seems to be a good teammate by most accounts (other than the fire extinguisher).
