I think Noel will be better than most people think. Which is still not very good, but Tyson Chandler like.

I will take that anyday of the week. You need a paint controlling big on D now that the league has shifted to either take it to the rack for a close shot/shooting foul or shoot the 3.

I’m getting tired of all these injuries. IDK maybe the league should think about reducing the number of games these guys play.

i think that Nerlen’s Noel is going to have a career closer to Greg Oden’s than Tyson Chandlers. structurally, for a big man in the NBA, that guy is a mess.

He’s slender like Tyson though. He has the body of a SF lol.

You could (most likely are) be completely correct though. As usual I’m taking the optimistic route with him.

right, my thing is, Tyson never blew out his knee in the fashion that Nerlen’s did. and Nerlen’s really did it just trying to support his own weight after jumping at full speed. admittedly, the Phoenix Medical staff’s reaction to him pre-draft is playing into my opinion maybe a little too much.

  • Fat Lever

A little early to make that statement, no? Sixers are purposely shelving him to prevent any “down the road” type of nagging injuries that happen from coming back too soon.

If next year he can’t make it through a season without missing a large chunk of games, then yea, you may be right.

We need a sample size before making any determinations about how his career is going to play out.

It’s just my opinion based on the info I have. It’s not like my opinion actually dictates anything

  • LakeShow

Makes sense. I would take their opinion fairly seriously.

  • TriggaMan

Wouldn’t it of been cool if nerlen stayed with pelicans and had a twin towers thing going with ad

  • LakeShow

Yeah, it definitely could have been.

Or the most injured front court ever :/

  • VanCityBBall

For some reason after injury after injury I still for some reason have an urge to blame Stern…

thats dumb. if anything, the teams need to work their players slightly less. skip or reduce a practice here and there. that sort of thing.
