The NBA Doesn’t Like Referee Critique

And they show their displeasure by hitting whiny coaches where it hurts the most: “The NBA has fined three coaches for publicly criticizing referees during the NBA playoffs. Houston’s Rick Adelman, Portland’s Nate McMillan and Boston’s Doc Rivers all were penalized $25,000.”

Yeh, well both Adelman and McMillan should be p!ssed off at how the games are being worked.
Yao gets played the same way every game, comes up with 3 inch blood scratches over his face and neck and there’s no calls in one game, then Oden and Joel get called for the same thing the next game… all they want is consistency. If they’re consistently bad to both teams, then thats fair. The reaction of the referees so far to indivdual games has been very frustrating for both teams.
I understand both coaches gripes about it.
Don’t have any real knowledge of the Boston/Chicago series, so I’m not going to guess about it.

I hate it when it’s forbidden to say that someone made a mistake if they made a mistake.

well doc has no damn reason to be mad.
    at all.
calls are being missed both ways but you don’t here neither the coaching staff or chicago media complaining, unlike our much less gracious opponents.

why doesnt the nba hire new refs than these old mother f**ckers they got now. i mean seriously, these guys would do better in a high school game if they can’t keep up right now. Such one sided calls and bs.

If the league doesn’t want anybody complaining about the refs than the refs should get it right and get consistent. Period.

the refs blows. everyone knows it. so.. why not tell the refs they suck.
