Kobe’s Got One Giant Finger

Kobe just on the Tonight Show that he dislocated his right ring finger in Game 5 of the Finals. Nothin’ a little tape can’t fix…Kobe Bryant

    Kobe is a tough sumb1tch, you gotta give him that. I was reading that new Simmons piece, and I totally agree that Kobe’s last two year stretch has been a phenomenol example of consistency and mental toughness, if nothing else. Playing 82 games + a Finals run + Olympic Competition + 82 more games and a successful Finals run – thats just impressive.

    Love em or hate em Kobe is one of the toughest players out there.Obviously he knows the Lakers need him to win it all so taking time off is not an option. I wonder if he will do it again. With the World championship qualifying coming up

    dutch – Kobe will be getting some well deserved time off. Team USA does not have to play this summer to qualify, they get an automatic bid as reigning olympic champs.

Watch any Nba game and see how many of those dudes have their fingers taped, too bad they don’t make it a media thing. musn’t have hurt too much since he put up 27 spg. Whatever..

    dark, you got to chill. Kobe never to this point really complained about his f´d up fingers and he didnt put up this post or snap the pic of him holding up the 4. Chill out and give the man some credit.

    Die Deutschen (Schweizer? Österreicher?) sind in da HIZZLE! Ok backboard, sowie du mich angesprochen hast, nehm ich an dass du weisst wie oft ich Kob’s “disse”. Gleichzeitig habe ich schon mehrfach zugegeben dass er (oft) überirdisch gut Basketball spielt, ganz im Gegenteil zu den meisten Slam Besuchern, die nur klar ihn hassen, oder vergöttern. Aber Junge, Junge, ich kann Bean echt nicht leiden und diese Aufspielung seiner Verletzung (und er hats erwähnt in den Medien) find ich echt zum Lachen. Wie gesagt, du kannst nicht soviel B-Ball spielen im Jahr ohne irgendwelche Verletzungen mitzuschleppen..Bsp: ich hatte vom letzten November bis ca. April, nicht 1 sondern DREI verstauchte Finger an beiden händen. Trotzdem kein Spiel verpasst. Und habe nicht die medizinische Betreuung der Lakers zur Verfügung. Nba Spieler sind dauernd verletzt.
    Puuh, felt good to do that. German sure rocks if you wanna be concise.

    Imma take the high road on this one. Let him and his groupies slide. But when slam creates the adult-only locker room section on the site where cats can just go off on each other (yeah I realize it’s not the best idea to do it anywhere and at all times). I can think of about 50 one liner zingers about that pic, Kobe and his life . . . just so ya know ;P
