NEVER liked Shaq and never will. Who really cares that his congrats come out? Shaq is just a big hunk a meat under the bucket that cannot make a shot outside of 5 feet.

He also would not have had any rings in LA unless it was for Kobe. It’s not his day, don’t let him steal any glory with half hearted congratulations.

What people fail to notice is Shaq single handedly lost a game 7 in Orlando. All he had to do is shoot 50% at the free throw line and they win. All he had to do in make 2 free throws at the end of they game and they win. He’s no Kareem, no Dr. J he’s not even close to the NBA’s top big men.

Shaq is chasing a title for his 5th and now he trying to go to the Cavs, Shaq go twitter and shut up, You need attention and feel you can be relevant by keep talking about Kobe, you go sing in a club, with earthlings who like you. The BIG OVERRATED who has underachieved in his career. Your title with Miami, ZO played better than you. SHAQ your 4th title you were the weakest link, check your stats Shaq, twitter about that.

haha funny. and waterpup saying hes not close to the nba’s top big men? yeah ok

Shaq is one of the best players to have ever played the game, with that said he has been a bit of a hop-on.Just last year he was clowning Kobe in public and now he wants to praise him.

Jordan wouldn’t have won without Pippen, Tim Duncan wouldn’t have won without Tony Parker/Manu, Hakeem wouldn’t have won without Drexler. The list goes on…every Batman needs a Robin and for 3 years in LA Shaq was Batman…

    agree on wayno

If I were to go through NBA history and pick 1 center to build a team around it would probably be Shaq as much as I don’t like him. He DOMINATED the NBA throughout his career. He’s the reason players like TD chose to be PF’s instead of centers.

When did Shaq lose a game 7 in orlando?

biggest tool in pro sports: Shaq. I give Kobe props for one thing: seeing through shaq. Every time they meet up after the suppose ‘mutual apology session’ Shaq is always trying to be buddies with Kobe, Kobe not so much into accepting it. Shaq wants to be a Laker, you can tell by the way he was playing last season: showcasing his skills to Phil and Kobe, letting them know he still has ‘it’. I wouldnt be suprised if Shaq is traded to Cleveland, then as a loyalty move to Kobe, opts out and signs a mid-level exception with LA, wins a ring, and retires a champion. Its a conspiracy!

Man of steel has style. Hilarious!

  • Hello? Wilt Chamberlain is that you?

So sick of these “Player X can’t win without Player Y” statements. One man teams don’t win championships. Jordan had Pippen, Bird had McHale etc, Magic had Kareem etc, Duncan had Parker, SHAQ had KOBE (!) and Wade, Russel had Cousy. The list goes on. It just does not happen (there may be a couple of examples, but it’s late and I can’t think of any). Back on topic, good on Shaq for congratulating him. Love Shaq.

    Seed is delusional.

  • chintao

Both these guys are Player “Y” – as in, “Why are we subjected to their stupidity on such a regular basis?”

  • chintao

Also, I believe one-man teams can win (usually with the League’s assistance). As much as I despise him, Jordan really was such a case. He could have won without Pip, who is supremely overrated. Hell, that insipid LeBron might show us it can be done, as well. TD won his first championship in 1999. Neither TP nor Manu were with him. The Dream won his C’hip in 1994, withou The Glide. Russell won a few Championships without Cousy, who was no longer with the Celtics after the 1962-63 season.

SHAQ is faded and bitter!he aint nothing but a “big ol monkey off Kobes’s back!!”

  • seven deuce

    Now THAT is funny hahaha

Agreed with Betcats. Shaq does try being buddies with Kobe. He knows he messed up when he was dominant enough to start a beef and he got caught up in the moment not thinking about the future. He does want to be a Laker and retire a Laker hes been giving messages all season by saying him and Kobe are the best Duo ever and that whole ASG Co-MVP thing Shaq was preety happy and Bryant didnt really care. Kobe knows Shaq was not there for him in the hard times and he did mess up his career in a way but also helped his career. A lot of the Kobe turmoil and hate hes been involved with is mainly because of Shaq. He was not treated fairly because of Shaq. Shaq is still the man though I just dont see him leaving without it. Shaq to the Lakers this summer then retiring as the best Center ever with 5 rings and Phil leaving after getting his 11th would be amazing.

I love how many people suddenly have intimate knowledge of Shaq’s mind. Unbelievable. Screw having any of you guys on a jury. You’d have the accused hung, drawn and quartered before the oath.
