The beat is awesome. I like how they show that not every bar must rhyme in order to make a hot song.
I’m waiting for Enigmatic to make some kind of numbered list on here anytime soon lol… (if your reading this bro, its all love) I respect regular commenters on this site. Yeah I’m feeling the joint above, but please… Slck Rick next.
This is it WHAT!!! Classic …
I actually..…having nothing to say about this.
To my knowledge, I don’t think I’ve ever heard a Camp Lo song, and the video is disabled here at my work so I can’t check it out.
I’m sure someone will comment about something that will cause me to create a list before day’s end though. lol
“Uptown Saturday Night” is a hell of a dope album. “Black Connection” is my personal fav joint from them.
this is my jam.
when i heard the guy rapping i always pitured him to always be smiling and sure enough, he is haha
Funny how if Camp Lo dropped today heads would be runnin around barking about how their flow is this or that. Instead they do it with Lupe, Wale, and anybody else who’s “next” as if those young cats created the laid back, smooth-talk type delivery. Luckily though, those of us with experienced ears don’t wet ourselves when somebody new comes along doin what’s already been done better…
Me being a person that rep the dirty I always wanted to her a Camp Lo & Outkast collabo
Fav Camp Lo song is Sparkle
Co-sign Hammer. I heard Ski, Jay-Z’s producer for most of “Reasonable Doubt,” actually intended most of his beats for Camp Lo. Imagine how insane that would be.
@ Jeremy – Yeah man, Sparkle is a tough song!
@ Enigmatic: I think you would seriously dig Camp Lo. Check’em out.
may i please request at some point – THICK – by D.I.T.C.
Skee-lo “I wish” haha that probably fits in well with a lot of posters on this site! Or listen to me, John Frusciante.
