Layup Lines: Madvillainy

So nasty that it’s probably somewhat of a travesty

One of my favourite albums of all time. This is trully Madlib and Doom at their finest.

  • BlackStar

Wow … Much respect for this! It’s good to see there are still true hip hop heads alive!

Was not expectin to see Madvillain get some love. Really never been a huge MF DOOM fan, but Madlib’s production is always on point.

@Boing Dynasty: haha cosign i always thought the same thing, but im sure some ppl(me included) come on here to hear stuff that they’ve never heard before. im not an old school hip hop know-it-all like some guys on here that have heard of all these songs before

@Boing Dynasty – no doubt, but sometimes you forget all about a certain song until you see it on here and then you’re like “THAT’S THAT SH*T!!”

  • logues

Enigmatic: i think Boing Dynasty is prolly referring to the ppl who request to Schneezy for certain songs when all they gotta do is go on youtube and type it in

  • O

Seriously, i’m going to ask this once a day until someone hits me up: Does ANYONE have that Shaq joint with Lord Tariqu, Nas and Jay-Z on mp3? I got it on an old Clue tape, but the sound quality is eh. Then on Shaq’s album, Nas’ verse was as ghost as Tony Starks (i’m sure Jay had something to do with that). If you have the mp3, hit me up!!!

I love that you guys do this, I thought I was the only one who still appreciates good hip hop. An Illmatic shoutout one of these days would be dope.

@Omar – man, the version I got is missing Nas’ verse too. I also got that “Legal Money” track Shaq did with Mobb Deep.
