Polladaday: Merry Christmas?

A portion of the NBA schedule will be released tomorrow evening, specifically, the opening day, Christmas Day & MLK Day games. Christmas is always a big ratings day for the league, what would get you to tune in?

What Christmas Day game would you most like to see?

Miami at Cleveland would be so cruel.

    Toronto @ Indiana of course!

I’d actually prefer Miami @ Los Angeles. Taking on the defending champs on their homecourt and all that jazz.

Wait, are we talking about the Los Angeles Clippers or Lakers?

How about this Christmas Day tripleheader? Chicago @ Boston, Thunder @ Magic, Lakers @ Heat.

Eboy’s got it right. Hell, if that was the schedule, I’d be parked in front of the TV all day, ignoring family.

Either Miami at Cleveland, or Lakers at Heat.

Miami at Cleveland would be interesting in terms of the fans’ reactions to LeBron, but other than that, it would (should) be a total beatdown of the Cavs. The triple-header I’d personally love to see would be Chicago @ Utah, Boston @ Orlando, Lakers @ Miami.

the home team usually has a hard time on christmas games.. or at least that’s what i would think..

How bout a Christmas quadruple header; PHX @ NYK (Prediction: 140-132), BOS @ OKC (So I can hear KG call KD; Michael Fuc*ing Jordan), CHI @ ORL (Joy to watch DRose attack the paint vs DHow), MIA @ LAL (So the laker fans can throw a hissy fit like last year when they getting their sh*t pushed in by the heat).

@JTaylor21 – As a Bulls fan, I can’t say it was a “joy” to watch DRose attack the paint against Howard last year. Howard injured Rose not once but twice when Rose drove to the paint against him. They’re buddies off the court but man, I cringe whenever Rose drives against Howard, he shows no mercy, and rightfully so.

the league always has 3-5 games. last x-mas had 5 games so i believe they’ll do the same this year. all the stars and major cities have to be involved. so Chicago, Miami, LA, New York, Dallas, and Boston wil be playing. Then factor in the star power, of Nash, Durant, Melo, Dwight, and maybe a promising rookie/sophmore that needs more exposure (John Wall/Tyreke Evans/Brandon Jennings factor) We may have a schedule including any of these games LAL vs. OKC, Chicago vs. Orl, Den. vs. DAL, Miami vs. Bos, and NY vs Pho. I Wouldn’t be surprised if a Wizards game made the cut though.

Gotta be Heat vs Lakers. Although like some are saying, they do play a triple header now don’t they? So add Boston vs Orlando and Jazz vs Bulls to the bill.
