Polladaday: Impending Lockout?

Speculation continues to fly around regarding whether or not the NBA will shut down next season as the players and owners work out a new deal. Think it’ll actually happen?

Will there be a lockout next summer?

There will be no lockout. Business is thriving in the NBA not just in the USA, but abroad. I expect an agreement on a new CBA to be reached just before the 2011 NBA trade deadline. This will likley be good for Carmelo Anthony and other 2011 free agents looking to secure their futures in the NBA. Drumroll please … BOOK IT!

Yea, lot of these votes might be “i hope they don’t” vs. “i dont think there will be”

but ORANGE makes a good point. honestly, hate LBJ or not…All this free agency and his role in it might have just save the L from a lockout(indirectly) and Melo doing the same nxt year just keepsall eyes on the NBA.
