Bean passed Moses Malone on the career scoring list last night, and has his eyes set on none other than Shaquille O’Neal (who’s 5th on the all-time list). From the AP: “The Lakers 13-time All-Star, entered Tuesday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks 12 points from matching Malone’s 27,409 points. Bryant passed Malone when he made three free throws with 2:05 remaining in the first half. He had 15 points in the first half. Bryant has been shooting up the scoring list this season. He passed Malone one week after moving past Elvin Hayes for seventh. He also has topped the scoring totals of Hakeem Olajuwon, Oscar Robertson, Dominique Wilkins and John Havlicek this season.”
