With the lockout in full effect, offers from international teams just keep pouring in. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for Jerry Stackhouse, who last played in the League with the Miami Heat early in ’10-11. Via Sportando: “Jerry Stackhouse was offered to Virtus Bologna but the Italian team turned down the proposal. The experienced player, now free agent, wanted an NBA out in the contract but Claudio Sabatini, owner of the team, said several times the club is not interested in signing players with escape which allows them to return to US. And Virtus Bologna was also concerned about the physical conditions of Stackhouse who has played just seven game in the last season before the cut.”
