Derrick Rose’s heart-wrenching injury knocked him out of the 2012 NBA Playoffs, and is preventing him from participating in Team USA’s march through the 2012 Olympics, too. But that hasn’t stopped adidas from dropping new DRose releases—including a “Gold Medal” colorway of the Rose 773. Officially, in adidas’ words: “D-Rose is a tomahawk slamming, traffic-weaving thing of beauty. The men’s adidas Rose 773 shoes are how he flows. The basketball shoes have a synthetic leather upper and feature SPRINTWEB and SPRINTFRAME support, EVA cushioning, and a grippy rubber outsole.” The kicks are available now for $125 via the adidas online store.
