The Nets and forward Josh Childress have come to an agreement on a 1-year deal. From the Star-Ledger: “Free agent forward Josh Childress has agreed to a deal with the Nets, the 6-8 forward confirmed on his Twitter page moments ago. The agreement was first reported by the New York Times. Childress, 29, was amnestied by the Phoenix Suns in July agreed to a non-guaranteed, one-year deal, according to Yahoo Sports. Presuming he makes the Nets’ roster out of training camp, he will likely serve as the backup small forward, playing behind Gerald Wallace.”
