An MRI revealed that the left knee injury suffered by Metta World Peace on Monday night against the Golden State Warriors was more serious than just a strain — MWP has a torn meniscus. Uh-oh. Per the Los Angeles Lakers’ PR: “Results of the MRI showed a lateral meniscus tear. He will return to Los Angeles where he will be examined (Wednesday) by team doctor Steve Lombardo. An update, including a time table for his return, will be issued at the conclusion of his examination.”
