The Denver Nuggets announced that guard Nate Robinson won’t suit up tonight against the Toronto Raptors. An MRI Thursday revealed a sprained anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. From the press release:
Robinson, averaging 10.4 points and 2.5 assists in 44 games this season, will be evaluated again Friday to determine a course of treatment.
“When they’ve gathered as much information as they can gather, we’ll go from there,” Nuggets coach Brian Shaw said. “It’s probably safe to say he’ll miss some time.”
Robinson was injured midway through the first quarter of Denver’s game against the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday. He was making his first start of the season in place of injured point guard Ty Lawson.
