Marcus Smart has been suspended for one game by the NBA because he punched San Antonio’s Matt Bonner in the crotch.
The Celtics guard was ejected from Friday night’s game when he wound up and delivered an uppercut on Bonner as the Spurs’ big man set a screen.
Smart will sit out Sunday’s game against the Detroit Pistons.
