Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was understandably excited about his team’s free agent haul this summer.
A little too excited, it turns out.
The NBA has reportedly fined Cuban $25K for talking to reporters about the acquisition of center DeAndre Jordan and guard Wesley Matthews; the League’s free agent moratorium period ends Thursday.
Per the Dallas Morning News:
Apparently, the NBA moratorium period continues to be a joke. Sources say Mark Cuban has been fined 25,000 for comments about D. Jordan.
