Nuggets Sign Wilson Chandler to 4-Year, $46 Million Extension

Wilson Chandler has agreed to a four-year, $46 million extension with the Denver Nuggets. Chandler has been the subject of trade talks throughout the past season, but Denver elected to keep the versatile wing as they enter a rebuild.

Denver Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler has signed a four-year, $46 million extension, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

 

Chandler had one year left on his contract and the deal prevents him from joining the free-agent market in 2016 when a flood of new television money will make for a rich market for talented wing players.

 

Teams with significant salary-cap room can renegotiate their players’ four-year contracts on the third anniversary of the contract.
