Jeremy Tyler Makes History, Signs in Israel

A few months ago, Jeremy Tyler announced that he would be skipping his senior year of high school to play in Europe. According to an early report, from an Israeli newspaper, the 6-11 would-be high school senior has agreed to a deal with Maccabbi Haifa. Haifa, owned by Jeff Rosen, an American, is now a part Tyler’s trailblazing attempt to make the NBA while skipping a year of HS and all of college.

Last year’s Israeli Premier League runner-up, Haifa (formerly the Haifa Heat) had one of the best American players in Israel last year in Davon Jefferson (USC), and returns a strong lineup.
