Thomas is going under the knife to fix his knee, and will be out of action for a few weeks: “Mavericks forward Tim Thomas found out Wednesday that he has a cartilage injury of undetermined severity in his right knee that will require arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday … A timetable for Thomas’ return won’t be known until after the surgery, but a Mavericks official was optimistic that sometime between three and six weeks would be a fair estimate.”
