Largely for financial reasons, both Roko and Mikki were relieved of their duties by their respective employers: “Backup point guard Roko Ukic was released by the Bucks on Monday, a move which will allow the 25-year-old Croatian to seek playing opportunities in Europe. General manager John Hammond said Ukic requested to have his contract voided, removing any further obligation by the Bucks for the remainder of his deal, which ran through the 2010-’11 season. Ukic had played sparingly behind starting point guard Brandon Jennings and veteran Luke Ridnour. The 6-foot-5 Ukic appeared in 13 games and averaged 3.1 points and 7.5 minutes.”
