Dwight Howard to Announce Rookie Game

If this means less Reggie Miller on my television, then I’m all for it: “The Orlando Magic center will serve as a color commentator for TNT when the network broadcasts the Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam on at 9 p.m. on Feb. 12 from American Airlines Center in Dallas. A TNT spokesman said Howard will join play-by-play man Kevin Harlan and commentator Kevin McHale and help call the latter stages of the first half of the Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam. Howard also will serve as a commentator at halftime, when the Los Angeles Clippers’ Eric Gordon and the Toronto Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan compete in the inaugural All-Star Slam Dunk-In contest.”
