Doc Rivers said Friday that he hopes Ray Allen signs an extension to stay with the Celtics instead of becoming a free agent this summer: “‘I think I’ve said in the middle of the year, hopefully we sign Ray back,’ Rivers said. ‘I think I can say that, if not I just got fined [for tampering].'”
