10-LE MANS (FRANCE)

Yes!!! Le Mans won their first Euroleague game defeating 100-87 Cibona Zabreb, good stuff for the french team, who’s supposed to win also their last Euroleague game next week in Milan against Armani Jeans.

9-LOTTOMATICA ROME (ITALY)

Only Panathinaikos made this. Only the Euroleague champs won this season in Catalunya at Palau Blaugrana. Only Panathinaikos. And Lottomatica Rome. A great game who put the romans to Top16, a big shot for the Repesa’s boys.


8-ARIS TT BANK THESSALONIKI (GREECE)

Sweet win in Turkey for Aris TT Bank, an impressive 84-74 at Abdi Ipekçi in Istanbul over Efes Pilsen. Every time a greek team win in Turkey (and vice versa) is a special night for the winners, and last night was special for the Thessaloniki’s greeks.


7-PARTIZAN IGOKEA BELGRADE (SERBIA)

Everybody know that Brose Baskets Bamberg is a team in trouble, but an 85-37 win is big game. And Partizan Igokea Belgrade did it. They kept the germans to 36% from the field and 15% from the three points line. Great game.

6-ZALGIRIS KAUNAS (LITHUANIA)

Zalgiris Kaunas is still solid and healthy, last night defeating 88-75 Olympiacos Piraeus, improving his record to 8-5, tied for third place with Tau Ceramica Vitoria in Group A. The lithuanians can do good things also in Top16.

5-REAL MADRID (SPAIN)

Los Merengues remain at second place in Group C behind Panathinaikos. This week Real had an easy 82-68 win in Clermond Ferrand (France) over Chorale Roanne. The spanish are trying to be in the best shape for the Top16.


4-LIETUVOS RYTAS VILNIUS (LITHUANIA)

The former surprise of Euroleague is right now a great certainly in the Tournament. Lietuvos Rytas has defeated 71-63 the strong Unicaja Malaga last night in Vilnius, keeping the lead of Group B tied with Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv.

3-CSKA MOSKOW (RUSSIA)

Same old solid and strong Ettore Messina’s Cska Moskow. They are Group A Champions defeating 70-62 Tau Ceramica Vitoria last night at Palace of Sports Khodynka. 11-2 record, Cska is waiting for the last game of the Group A, next week against the former Ettore Messina’s team, Vidivici Virtus Bologna.

2-MACCABI ELITE TEL AVIV (ISRAEL)

Maccabi is on fire more than ever. They won eight of the last nine games, and right now they’re tied with Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius at the top of Group B. For the israeli the next stop is Top16, Final Four bound.


1-PANATHINAIKOS ATHENS (GREECE)

Best record in Euroleague, maybe the best team in the Tournament, that’s all we have to say about Panathinaikos. Last night at their home OAKA the Greens defeated Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul, a clear 88-68 who photograph the strength of the Obradovic’s bunch.

DANILO GALLINARI (ARMANI JEANS MILAN)

Il Gallo, Danilo Gallinari, one of the best european NBA prospects, had a great game last night in Tel Aviv in the Armani Jeans Milan’s loss. 27 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 8 fouls drawn, an impressive performance for the Milan’s native.

NOVICA VELICKOVIC (PARTIZAN IGOKEA BELGRADE)

In the Partizan 85-37 easy win over Brose Baskets Bamberg, the serbian power forward Novica Velickovic had a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds, plus 2 assists and 3 steals. Novica Velickovic is the Week 13 Euroleague MVP.

LYNN GREER (OLYMPIACOS PIRAEUS)

Everybody know Lynn Greer as an incredible scorer, from the high schools of Philadelphia ’til the europeans pro. In the Olympiacos loss in Lithuania the former Temple University scored 29 points with 8/14 from the field and 10/11 from the charity line, great game.
