Bradley Beal: ‘Nobody Can Stop Me’

Bradley Beal has been on a tear to start the season for the Wizards.

The fourth-year guard is averaging 25 ppg and shooting 50 percent on three-pointers over his first two games, and scored 14 of his team-high 26 points in the fourth quarter of the Wizards’ 118-113 comeback win over the Bucks on Friday.

He’s definitely feeling himself right now. From the Washington Post:

The question entering this season was whether Inner Brad would make consistent regular season appearances to catapult Beal to the all-star campaign he expects from himself after another standout postseason. It didn’t take long. Inner Brad surfaced Friday night with another memorable one-liner after Beal scored 14 of his team-high 26 points in the fourth quarter of the Wizards’ improbable 118-113 comeback win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.

“Nobody can stop me,” Beal declared in an on-court postgame television interview. “Plain and simple.”

Beal took a couple blows and hard falls along the way for the second straight game – he spent several minutes receiving treatment after the game and could perhaps benefit from football pads – but he was only unconscious when it came to his fourth-quarter barrage. He made four three-pointers in the quarter, launching them without a second’s hesitation, and letting the stunned Bradley Arena crowd know about it each time.
