Yesterday was a great day for NBA Twitter battles, as former All-Stars went at it with comedians, and current stars refused to back down from one another. Brandon Jennings thinks that Kobe Bryant shouldn’t rep the Drew League in their battles against Goodman League because he’s not a California native (this isn’t the first time Jennings has tweaked the Lakers’ superstar this summer): “People mad because I said, Kobe shouldn’t play for the Drew League team cause he wasn’t born in #LA. So that’s a lie? I never said kobe should play in the drew league I can careless, I’m talking about The Drew League TEAM! That hooped against DC.”
Brandon Jennings on Kobe: “He wasn’t born and raised in LA. You gotta be from LA to play for Drew. Show me a birth certificate.”
