Hill’s ankle injury — suffered on Sunday against the Lakers — could knock him out until the postseason. From the Express-News: “An MRI conducted today in San Antonio revealed Spurs guard George Hill has a strained right peroneal tendon in his ankle, leaving his availability for the remainder of the regular season in doubt. Hill has been ruled out the final two games of the Spurs’ road trip, Tuesday at Sacramento and Wednesday at Phoenix. How soon he might be able to return after that will depend upon how his ankle responds to treatment.”
