LeBron James, Dwyane Wade to Appear on The Cleveland Show

Not only will a bunch of NBA All-Stars be on TV today (Sunday, Feb. 13) while their teams play nationally televised games, but they’ll also be on the small screen tonight, in animated form. Via the Sun-Sentinel: “Before they head to the NBA All-Star Game, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade will head to a more cartoonish version Sunday at 9:30 p.m. on Fox on ‘The Cleveland Show.’ The episode also will feature cartoonish versions of Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard, Dirk Nowitzki, Shaquille O’Neal and Steve Nash, who all lent their voices and play themselves. According to the plot synopsis provided by the network: ‘When Cleveland and Donna score courtside seats to the all-star basketball game in Los Angeles, Cleveland gets too rowdy and talks smack to the players, causing them to seek revenge by paying Cleveland a surprise visit in Stoolbend. Meanwhile, Rallo befriends a little person at the grocery store, whom he mistakes for a child, and gets into some adult trouble when he leaves his new friend’s sister at the altar. When the vengeful little people show up at his house, they end up in a brawl with the equally vengeful basketball players.’ Again, their words, not ours. Mike Henry, the show’s executive producer who also voices ‘Cleveland,’ earlier this week discussed the episode on a media conference call. ‘Every one of those guys,’ Henry said, ‘was absolutely hilarious and did everything we asked and more.'”
