LeBron James: ‘No One Should Fault’ Kevin Love for Russell Westbrook MVP Vote

The “evolving” LeBron James-Kevin Love friendship won’t be strained by Love’s opinion that Russell Westbrook is the NBA’s most valuable player this season.

LeBron took his teammate’s opinion in stride, and Love says that James has made also made a very strong case for MVP.

And so the circus in Cleveland rolls on.

Per the Akron Beacon Journal:

“Kev has his own opinion who he believes is MVP,” James said. “No one should fault him for that.”

“If you choose to get the little three or four second clip of my whole answer, I said LeBron could very well be the MVP, Steph Curry, James Harden,” Love said Tuesday. “Those are guys you all talk about and you know very well all of them could be the MVP.”

James is having one of the worst statistical seasons of his career, but the four-time MVP said his numbers from those past seasons shouldn’t count against him this year. […] “Do I win? When I’m on the floor am I playing at a high level? That’s all I care about,” James said. “When I’m on the floor is my team winning? That has a lot to do with it.”
