Marcus Morris on Suns Fans Booing Him: ‘I Thought It Would Be A Little Bit Better’

Marcus Morris returned to Phoenix on Friday, and was treated to a cacophony of boos from the fans.

Morris has made his feelings clear about the Suns organization, which he called “clowns” after they traded him.

After dropping 20 points on 7-14 shooting in the Pistons’ 100-92 victory, Marcus threw shade right back at the salty Suns fans.

From the Detroit Free Press:

Booed every time he touched the ball by the fans of his former team, Morris scoffed at their antics.

“(Expletive), everybody heard them,” he said to laughter in the visitor’s locker room at Talking Stick Resort Arena. “It was light. It wasn’t (expletive). If it was in Detroit it would have been better.

“If Detroit was booing somebody it would have been way better. They don’t even know what they doing. They don’t even know why they booing.

“They just out there booing me. It was trash. I thought it would be a little bit better than that.”
