Renowned Twitter poet Matt Barnes weighed in on the 2-game suspension handed down to J.R. Smith, following his vicious back-handed smack (punch?) of Jae Crowder in Game 4.
Barnes was critical of the NBA for its lack of consistency when handing out punishment.
Not a knock on Jr cause he's the homie, but I get 1game for pushing someone! Let me take a swing w/a closed fist. NBA picks & chooses #joke

Dnt get me wrong I wanna see Jr help his team, specially considering it's the playoffs. I'm using him as an example its not directed at him

Smith, meanwhile, was remorseful about his costly actions in the series-clincher against the Boston Celtics, vowing to be a better teammate for the Cleveland Cavaliers going forward:
Not the player I want to be not the player I want my teammates an family to see not the person I want the fans to see but I will be better! I must be better as a player an as a Person! #TheLand
