Phoenix Suns Agree to $34 Million Deal With Goran Dragic

Now that Steve Nash is no longer a Sun, Phoenix quickly moved to replace him, agreeing to a 4-year, $34 million contract with free agent point guard Goran Dragic. From the AZ Republic: “Dragic, an unrestricted free agent, was the Plan B for many teams pursuing Nash but became the Suns’ Plan A quickly with Wednesday’s development, including a Steve Nash sign-and-trade with the Los Angeles Lakers and agreeing to terms with small forward Michael Beasley. As a starter in Houston, Dragic averaged 18.0 points and 8.4 assists this season while shooting 49 percent from the field. Dragic, 26, can sign the contract July 11. It includes a fourth-year player option.”
