The Starz original series Survivor’s Remorse follows Cam Calloway (played by Jessie T. Usher), a basketball phenom in his early 20’s who is suddenly thrust into the limelight after signing a multi-million dollar contract with a professional basketball team in Atlanta. The new half-hour series, premiering Saturday, October 4 on Starz, focuses on the responsibilities that come from making it big as a pro athlete—and how athletes and their families cope with the consequences of success.

|CAM CALLOWAY (Jessie T. Usher)
Cam Calloway is the man who sets everything up for Survivor’s Remorse. A product of some tough projects in Boston, Cam has already “made it” by signing with the pro hoops team in Atlanta. Now he has to decide who to help—and not help—on his way up.
|REGGIE VAUGHN (RonReaco Lee)
Loyal and watchful, Reggie is both Cam’s cousin and his best friend. Reggie considers it his job to protect Cam and make sure that he’s focused and stays away from the many distractions along the way—including ones that come from his own family.
|MARY CHARLES CALLOWAY “M-CHUCK” (Erica Ash)
“M-Chuck” is Cam’s older sister, staunch defender and biggest fan. She’s also brash and outspoken. After moving with the family to Atlanta, she is consistently suspicious of the trappings of fame and its impact on her brother.
|CASSIE CALLOWAY (Tichina Arnold)
Brash and Outspoken, Cam’s proud mother is ready to live comfortably as a baller’s mama after many years of financial hardship. Despite the occasional gaffe, it’s clear that Cassie Calloway wants to do what’s best for her family.
|UNCLE JULIUS (Mike Epps)
The de facto patriarch of the Calloway Clan, Uncle Julius is Cassie’s brother and Cam’s uncle. He’s the kind of loving relative who would be there if it all went away- and the kind of guy who enjoys all the trimmings of success until it does.
|MISSY VAUGHN (Teyonah Parris)
Beautiful and refined, Missy is intent on building a good life with her husband Reggie in Atlanta, which is not a city she would choose to settle in. Whether it’s getting Cam involved in charities or picking a country club, Missy’s social awareness is sometimes out of place with the less-proper folks in Cam’s family.
