Troy Murphy, who has been sidelined with a groin injury, is now out indefinitely after suffering a lower back injury. From NorthJersey.com: “Murphy underwent an MRI today that confirmed a low back strain/inflammation. He will not accompany the Nets on their upcoming trip to Russia and China, where they will play two preseason games. Murphy will be re-evaluated after the team returns Oct. 17.”
