With only days remaining until the trade deadline, the time left for teams to pull off ridiculous franchise-
destroying changing deals is short. So it’s likely that those front-office execs holding massive long-term contracts or misfit players or both are getting awfully anxious to get something done. Especially if their high-priced teams aren’t going anywhere.
Hello, Isiah Thomas.
Within this ESPN.com column by SLAM favorite Chris “The Machine” Sheridan is mention of a trade so exciting that, if it happens, I’ll go to every Knicks game for the rest of the season, even the April 9th game against the Bobcats. The rumor is this:
Another source said there had been preliminary discussions on a three-way trade that would include, among other things, [Vince] Carter going to the New York Knicks, Eddy Curry to Miami and the expiring contracts of Jason Williams and Ricky Davis to New Jersey.
If there is a God, this will happen. Apocalypse NOW!
