Due to an irregular heartbeat at practice on Wednesday, Portland Trail Blazers guard Wes Matthews underwent an electrical cardioversion. His heartbeat has since returned to normal. Per the Oregonian: “Matthews, the Blazers’ starting shooting guard, did not travel with the Blazers to Oakland and has been ruled out for Thursday night’s final preseason game against the Golden State Warriors. He is listed as day-to-day. His absence against the Warriors means the Blazers will have played all seven of their preseason games without their five starters seeing any game minutes together.”
