Devin Booker Starts Training Camp In NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols

The Phoenix Suns announced that Devin Booker will not be a part of media day on Monday and will miss the first part of training camp in NBA’s health and safety protocols. The team also declined any updates until his eventual return to training camp. The Athletic’s Shams Charania made the report on Sunday.

Barring a major issue, Booker could still get in a few preseason games before the Phoenix Suns start their season on Oct. 20. They defending Western Conference champs play the first of their four preseason games Oct. 4 at Sacramento.

The KICKS 24 cover star averaged 27.3 points during Phoenix’s postseason run. Booker posted back-to-back 40-point games in the Finals including a breaking a record for most points in a first appearance in the playoffs. Then he closed out his season helping Team USA win the gold medal in Tokyo.
