Hornets to Sign Nate Darling on Two-Way Deal

The Charlotte Hornets have signed undrafted wing Nate Darling to a two-way contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The Canadian averaged 21.0 points per game for Delaware in 2019-20.

Darling will join the Hornets franchise after averaging 21.0 points per game in his first season in Delaware. Prior to joining the Fightin’ Blue Hens, Darling was a transfer from the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Darling will split time between Charlotte’s big league team and their Greensoboro Swam G League affiliate.

This year, unlike years prior, players signed to two-way deals will get 50 days’ worth of service time with the main franchise. Previously players only had 45 games’ worth.
