For those of you who follow the Premiership—and proper football in general—you no doubt took note of Thierry Henry’s transfer from Arsenal to Barcelona, where he’ll team up with Ronaldinho on one of the best sides to ever play the beautiful game.
(I should mention here that I’m an Arsenal fan, and between this and the departure of Freddie Ljungberg, I’m having flashbacks to the summer of ’98. Deep breaths. I think I need to re-read Fever Pitch.)
Anyway, when reading through some of the backstory to the Henry transfer, I came across this piece. Hm. Sound familiar to anyone else?
