Jaylen Brown Out Against the Jazz Due to Injury Management

The Boston Celtics announced Thursday that starting shooting guard Jaylen Brown will be out for their Friday matchup against the Utah Jazz due to injury management.

In the eight games since Brown’s return from his hamstring injury he suffered earlier on the season, he has played well, making a solid case for another All-Star bid averaging 21.4 points per game and 5.2 rebounds while shooting 46.3 percent from the field on the season.

The Celtics are currently 12-10, good for eighth in the Eastern Conference, and will be beginning their five-game road trip out west in which they face a gauntlet of some of the best teams in the Western Conference, including games against the Jazz and the Suns.
