Nikola Vucevic To Return From Ankle Sprain

The Orlando Magic will have Nikola Vucevic back in the lineup for their Sunday matinee game. The 29-year-old has been sidelined with a sprained ankle since mid-November.

Vucevic missed 11 games all told but the Magic have managed to hang around in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. The club will welcome their big man back with open arms as they look to snap a three-game skid.

He’s not expected to have a minute restriction in his return, Josh Robbins of The Athletic adds.

Vucevic has averaged 17.1 points and 11.6 rebounds per game in the 14 matches he has played so far this season, a slight regressions from a dominant 2018-19 campaign last season.

Early x-rays conducted on Vucevic’s ankle came back negative and his return to action falls right in line with the timeline that was initially projected.
