The NBA has revealed the reserves for next month’s revamped All-Star Game, seven players from each conference selected for inclusion by the league’s coaches.
The 14 reserves will join then 10 All-Star Game starters already selected in a pool of players that will then be drafted, pickup-game style by the two captains.
This year’s captains LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will divvy up the teams on national television on Feb. 6.

Notable
- A total of six All-Star Game reserves will be making their debut in the game this year (Adebayo, Gobert, Ingram, Mitchell, Sabonis, Tatum)
- The reserve with the most experience at All-Star Weekend is Chris Paul. Paul will be making his 10th All-Star Game appearance, with a total of three different franchises. Paul is the 44th player in NBA history to make double-digit All-Star Games.
- Domantas Sabonis has now made more All-Star Games than his Hall of Fame father, Arvydas Sabonis
- Among those notably absent from the list are Bradley Beal (who finished second in player voting) and Kyrie Irving (who finished third in overall starter voting).
