“I know how Jody feel, doing Kobe drills. Ease my mind hope I slowly heal.”

Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard is just leaving Tokyo, with Team USA emerging victorious in their gold medal game against France and while the nation revels in his performance on the court, Lillard continues to excel off of it as well.

and Dame D.O.L.L.A. just blessed the hip-hop scene with his latest single from his upcoming album, Different On Levels The Lord Allowed.

Last night, Lillard—known by the moniker rap name Dame D.O.L.L.A. in the music industry—announced the release date for his fourth album, Different On Levels The Lord Allowed.

Dame also blessed the hip-hop scene with a peak behind the curtain, dropping his first single from the project, “The Juice.”

While Different On Levels The Lord Allowed won’t drop on streaming services until Aug. 20, Dame has dropped now four singles from the album, “Home Team,” “Kobe” and “GOAT Spirit,” along with the opening track of the LP, “The Juice” — demonstrating the cohesive feel of the project.

Possibly the most gifted lyricist of the current generations hoopers-turned-rappers, Lillard’s talent in front of the mic garnered him a feature on the Space Jam: A New Legacy soundtrack, “About That Time,” where he would team up with G-Eazy, P-Lo and Noah David.
