Respect the Game: The SLAM Podcast Episode 8 (LISTEN)

In the latest episode of Respect the Game: The SLAM Podcast—our podcast in conjunction with our homies at Winner’s Circle Media—host Peter Walsh, Associate Editor Abe Schwadron and Senior Editor Adam Figman are joined by Schea Cotton, the former No. 1 high school player in the country and subject of the new documentary, Manchild. Cotton is widely considered to be the “LeBron before LeBron,” and that sentiment is co-signed in the documentary by NBA stars like Paul Pierce, Baron Davis, Metta World Peace, Stephen Jackson, Elton Brand and others. We chat with Cotton about his rapid rise and fall in the world of competitive hoops, including battles with Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett as a high schooler and his work with youth ballers these days.

But first, we rap about the epic Warriors-Thunder game, Damian Lillard’s hot streak and how the Heat might shake up the East. Hit play above to check it out, and be sure to subscribe on iTunes here. #RWTW.
